putting these on an a300 is very interesting you really have the unicorn machine with tracks or all wheel steering depending on the needs of the day. what I might suggest as an experiment is to turn the wheels very slightly in the direction of the track for installation so that when they straighten out it will add tension

For this to make sense I need to get dump truck loads of agrégate and pallets of cement and mix on the spot. Do you get the supplies from a ready mix facility or a gravel supplier? Wouldn't it be easier to turn the machine off, eliminating pressure to the line and then just tap the nipple of the other fitting to remove any built up pressure in it, then they go together nice and easy. Takes 10 seconds and a heck of alot safer then chancing getting 5000psi hydraulic fluid shooting at your eyes

They should make those High pressure lines with a dumb value. To dump it back in to the tank. It's never to safe to be doing anything under High Pressure. And never park that hoe while it's under Pressure.

Or learn how to depressurise the pipes and then they are easy to change.🙄
